Tony White returns home to coach in the 2019 Sun Bowl Game. 

For those of you that have followed El Paso athletes over the years, the name Tony White will ring a bell. As a graduate of Burges high school in 1997 Tony White was dominate athlete on the gridiron and in track in field. His career has taken him to UCLA and beyond and returned this year as the defensive coordinator for the Arizona State Sun Devils. Mr. White’s coaching background begins at UCLA where he was a graduate assistant then hired on as an assitant coach at the University of New Mexico and San Diego State before accepting his position in 2019 at Arizona State. 

Mr. White not only grew up attending the Sun Bowl games as a young student-athlete, but played his last college game in the Sun Bowl with UCLA in 2000. This years game came full circle coaching in the Sun Bowl and we are so excited to see his career continue.
